Let us create the creativity !

An awesome presentation by Ken robinson “Do schools kill Creativity?” He is right. We are working hard to remove the illiteracy but we somehow kill the creativity of the children with our structured curriculum. We think and also believe, education can give a fruitful result, when we follow the same structure of learning process and we always stick to it to master up the brilliancy of the students with already proven methods of education in various subjects. Here, we are just following the information but we are not allowed to apply our own thinking based on any concept to rebuild it with different ideas and views to nourish the same.

Once, I have asked the same question to the principal of a Indian school. She totally disagreed with me. And further,she explained , that the class strength is too high to apply the techniques to improve the creativity of the students. And she also included, that they must finish off the syllabus within the limited period of time. But who fixed this time boundary?. As far as, Indian education system is concerned, they are very liberal with their rules and regulations. The Government allow the schools to fix their own syllabus and they can even use their own material to enhance the educational phenomenon. But most of us are not aware of such government rule.

Unfortunately, the school management is not ready to prepare their own material, because they find it difficult and moreover they are not holding teachers who have their own creativity to prepare the same. With the tool of creativity, we can do wonders in our education system. It is the smartest way to achieve the target with less strain. Creative skills helps us to make the learning process easier.It improves the application oriented skills within us as well around us. It creates the desire to learn more , communicate effectively and it kindles the desire to efficiently lead and manage things. In fact , it is a easier process to make the students to understanding the concept quickly.

But this can be achieved , if we are able to adopt our education pattern in creative way. It can be done with new recruits who flourish with creative skills. Creativity in the school atmosphere will draw the new approaches with new strategies derived from the past experience. It increases the openness and acceptability within you. It increases the communication, visualization, understanding skills. It overcomes the dormant state of brain power and it also helps learning to learn and learning to lead.

Schools in India should come forward to create this kind of atmosphere and that will lead to the destiny to change yourself and change the world.
